Randolph "Ronnie" Leroy Everhart's Obituary
Randolph “Ronnie” Leroy Everhart, 78 of Shepherdstown, West Virginia passed on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at Inova Loudoun Hospital Center in Leesburg, Virginia.
Born Sunday, April 7, 1946, he was the son of the late Calvin Everhart and the late Margie Marshall Everhart Fleming.
Ronnie was raised in Loudoun County. He graduated from Oneida Baptist Institute, Oneida Kentucky in 1966. After graduation Ronnie was drafted into the Army where he served as a Combat Sergeant and received the Bronze Star along with many other combat medals. After the service Ronnie worked in an auto parts store in Leesburg, Virginia.
On October 11, 1969, Ronnie married Linda Barnhouse Everhart. In 1970, he went to work for American Airlines until his retirement in 2005.
Ronnie and Linda Lived in Lucketts until 2005. Ronnie was the past president of the Lucketts Puritan Club and active in youth sports where he coached soccer, which included his son Mark, who was born in 1977. Ronnie and Linda were members of Faith Chapel Presbyterian Church in Lucketts where Ronnie served as a deacon.
In 2005 Ronnie and Linda built a home in Shepherdstown, West Virginia.
Ronnie was a member of the VFW, Charles Town, WV the Loyal Order of the Moose 948, Ranson, WV, the Eagles Club, Brunswick, MD, and the American Legion, Frederick, MD.
Ronnie leaves behind many to cherish his memory, including his beloved wife of 55 years, Linda Barnhouse Everhart, son, Mark Everhart, sister Patricia Rutter, brother, Barrett Everhart, and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will take place on March 9, 2025, at the Charlestown Moose Lodge 948, 77 16th Ave. Ranson, WV 25438 from 1pm to 4pm. Internment will take place privately at Union cemetery of Leesburg, VA.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Ronnie's honor to the American Heart Association or the Disabled American Veterans..
