— In Loving Memory of Ravi —
It’s hard to put into words the shock and sadness I feel at the sudden passing of my dear college friend, Ravi.
We were classmates in the engineering class of 1990 in India — young, ambitious, and full of dreams. Life took us on different paths for a while, but thanks to Facebook, we reconnected after both settling in the United States. Since then, our conversations picked up right where they had left off, ranging from memories of college days to lively debates on Indian and American politics.
Ravi was refreshingly honest, transparent, and never afraid to speak his mind. He had a rare quality of being unapologetically himself — a quality I admired deeply.
Not sure why God chooses to call the good ones early… Ravi, 58 is far too soon. I’m still struggling to accept that you’re no longer with us.
Thank you very much for standing on my side as my friend. Rest in peace, my dear friend. You will be missed more than words can ever express — for a very, very long time.
