Raymond Hagenbuch's Obituary
RAYMOND HAGENBUCH, 86, born and raised in Arcola, VA, died on Friday August 17, 2007 in Leesburg, VA. Mr. Hagenbuch was born July 28, 1921 to the late Arch and Mae Sneider Hagenbuch. His first wife Mrs. Pauline Downs Hagenbuch in 1994, second wife Patricia Creed Hagenbuch and a daughter, Lynn Hagenbuch in 1990, also predeceased him. He was a past member of the Arcola Volunteer Fire Department. Mr. Hagenbuch moved to Arlington, VA in 1965 and resided there until recent years when he moved to Leesburg to be closer to family. He worked with White Construction for many years until his retirement in 1983 on such projects as Catoctin Elementary, Hillsboro Elementary and St. Stephen’s Catholic Church in Middleburg, VA.
Mr. Hagenbuch is survived by his daughter: Sharon Withers of Leesburg; three step-sons: Billy, Mike and Larry Creed; a brother: Tommy Hagenbuch of Leesburg; two sisters: Doris Grimes of Leesburg, Ann Grimes of Petersburg, VA; four granddaughters: Michelle Pugh of Nokesville, VA, Wendy Mason of Brunswick, MD, Amy Miller of Lovettsville, VA, Brittany Davis of Arlington, VA; six great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Friends may call at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Cr. SE Leesburg, VA on Tuesday August 21, 2007 from 7-9pm. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday August 22 at the funeral home with the interment to follow in Hillsboro Cemetery.
