Raymond Hugh Johnson's Obituary
Raymond Hugh Johnson, 66, Founder of the family business Lynn-Ray Mechanical Heating and Air Conditioning in Sterling, Virginia died on Tuesday, November 17, 2009 after a courageous battle with cancer. Mr. Johnson was born February 21, 1943 in Clinchco, VA to the late Taft Johnson and Bonnie McReynolds. His brother, Lee Johnson, preceded him in death. He has lived in Sterling since 1969.
Mr. Johnson is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years: Ruth Dorton Johnson of Sterling, VA; three children; Raymond H. Johnson II of Sterling, VA, Rhonda L. Johnson of Ashburn, VA, and Rebecca B. Johnson of Ashburn, VA; two grandchildren: Raymond H. Johnson III and Kristen N. Johnson both of Sterling, VA; one brother: Kenneth Johnson of Dallas, GA; one sister: Emma Branch of Monticello, FL and a host of other relatives and friends.
Friends may call on Thursday, November 19th from 7-9pm at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Cr. SE, Leesburg, VA. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am on Friday at Sterling Park Baptist Church, 501 N. York Road, Sterling, VA. Interment will follow in Sterling Cemetery.
