Col. Richard Benton Burgess' Obituary
Col. (USAF Ret.) Richard Benton Burgess passed away on October 2, 2013.
He was born on January 31, 1925, in Wolf Point, Montana.
Richard was graduated from West Point in 1946. After his retirement from thirty years’ service in the Air Force, he worked for twenty-two years as a financial advisor at Prudential Securities. He is survived by his wife, Marcene Reynolds Burgess; and two children, Dr. John Thompson Burgess and Marcene Burgess Block; and three grandsons. A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 28, 2013, at 2 pm at Falcons Landing Chapel, Potomac Falls, Virginia.
Graveside services and Interment will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at 1:00pm at Arlington National Cemetery.
