Richard Cohan's Obituary
Richard P. Cohan, 74, of Leesburg, VA passed away on Friday April 26, 2024 at the Adler Center.
Born on March 30,1950 in Massachusetts. He was Son of Richard and Beverly Cohan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his immediate family members.
He was in Navy served as a Vietnam War Veteran. He then joined the Federal Government serving for over 40 years as an Accountant within various Finance departments. During his tenure, he spent over 20 years in overseas assignments where he really enjoyed traveling and experiencing different cultures: Belgium, Germany, England, France, Holland, Italy, Venice, Philippine, and South Korea. After two decades of his experience in overseas, he often expressed that he didn’t quite fit into the culture of the United States.
He was a big fan of Boston Red Socks baseball team. He enjoyed reading and pleased watching Boston Bruins hockey games together with his daughter every weekend.
Arrangements will be held privately by the family.
