Richard Mark Cook's Obituary
Richard Mark Cook, 60 of Leesburg, Virginia died on Friday, July 25, 2014.
Richard was born Wednesday, June 9, 1954 in Lovettsville, VA.
“Mark” was raised in Loudoun County and graduated from Loudoun Valley High School. He had many employers including Beaver’s Roofing, Potomac Farm and the author Judy Randal, over the years to which he was a handyman.
He was a son of the late Robert Ernest Cook and the late Shirley Mae Darr Cook. He was also predeceased by his biological father Robert Carriers, a brother Dennis Wayne Cook, and sister Charlotte K. Cook.
He leaves to cherish his memory his long- time companion Anna Stull of Leesburg, brother, Robert & Evelyn Cook of Leesburg, VA, daughter Mandy Davis of FL, 3 nieces and 2 nephews. Mark is also survived by his close friends, Betty Harding and Henry Haynes; his step-son, David Whitesell, Jr. of Frederick, MD, and 2 step grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at 2 pm at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Circle, SE, Leesburg, VA 20175.
Graveside services and interment will be held at a later date in Lovettsville Union Cemetery.
