Richard Arthur Nelson's Obituary
Richard Arthur Nelson, 76, passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2016.
He was born on November 27, 1939 in Sacramento, California. He was the son of the late William and Virginia Nelson.
He is survived by his wife Sharon M. Nelson, his son David R. Nelson (Sheri), and granddaughter, Brooke E. Nelson.
Dick spent his career in retail sales and management, but his real love was his family. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and uncle. He also loved to build things, especially wood-working. He was a huge baseball fan, rooting for his beloved Washington Nationals.
A service of thanksgiving and remembrance will be held at 11:00 AM on 15th day, September, 2016 at Leesburg Presbyterian Church with Rev. Deborah Parsons officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The National Kidney Foundation.
