Ritu Mathur's Obituary
The world lost a beloved mother, wife, daughter, and friend on May 13, 2022. Ritu Mathur died peacefully in her home surrounded by her family. Ritu was born on February 5, 1965 in Allahabad, India. She is survived by her parents Sushma and Suresh Swarup, her brother - Samir Swarup, her children - Mudit, Malvika, Camila, Apurv, and her husband - Mayank.
Ritu loved drawing, reading, spending time with her furry grandson, Skylo, and taking adventures. She was an incredible person that faced every challenge with a smile and positivity. Ritu radiated a peaceful and joyful energy which impacted everyone around her.
She will always be remembered for her sweet and gentle nature and will live on forever in the hearts of everyone who met her.
A funeral service honoring Ritu will be held Monday, May 16th at 11:00 AM EST (8:30 PM India time) at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel & Crematory in Leesburg, Virginia. For those that can not attend in person, please follow the instructions below:
