Robert L. Ashby, 75 of Water View, Virginia passed away on Monday, March 25, 2013, at Rappahannock General Hospital in Kilmarnock, Virginia.
Robert was born Monday, September 27, 1937 in Leesburg, VA. He was a son of the late Hubert Ashby and the late Louise Cornell Ashby. Robert lived in Loudoun until 1994, when he moved to Water View, VA. As a young man Robert played baseball in the Loudoun County Men’s League and softball…
He worked as a local home improvement man, specializing in painting, wall paper, and some roofing.
Robert was also a member of the local Moose Lodge.
He is survived by his son, Steve Ashby & daughter-in-law: Leslie, of Leesburg, VA, his estranged daughter Sandra & husband Jay Joder of southern VA, his brother, David Ashby & sister-in-law: Bonnie of Heathesville, VA; and 2 grandchildren Taylor & Josh Ashby. He is also survived by his caregivers Tony & Joan Trainham of Waterview, VA.
Services and Interment will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to help defray final expenses.
