Robert Gordon Barton's Obituary
Barton, Jr., Robert Gordon (69) of Lucketts, VA, passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2016.
Bob was born in Washington, DC on January 16, 1947. He graduated from George Mason High School in 1965 and attended Virginia Commonwealth University. Bob also served in Vietnam 1970-1973 and was honorably discharged.
Bob went on to work in the car business for many, many years until he found his true passion for driving school buses for Loudoun County Public Schools.
He is survived by his daughters, Kimberly (Eric) Jay and Ashley (Josh) Blossom; three grandchildren Mason, Mailynn and Jaxson; two sisters Margaret Henderson, Liz Dubenitz and significant other Christine McFall.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 from 6-8pm at Loudoun Funeral Chapel 158 Catoctin Circle, SE, Leesburg, VA. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at 11:00am at Christ Church 14861 New Valley Church Road, Leesburg, VA. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
