So sorry to hear of Bob's passing. He and my dad (Frank Hermann) worked together on the RR. We lived in Blfd and Bob would stop by for a beer on Saturdays. I remember when he bought a vintage Mustang convertible. Both my parents passed 2 years ago along with a few others, so the RR gang is together once again.
Mr. Fischer was a wonderful role model. We were blessed to have the Fischer Family in our lives for many years. Mr. Fischer was a great influence in my career with the railroad and a great friend. Our prayers and wonderful memories are with you forever, Brigid and Tim O'Leary.
My Uncle Bob was a wonderful part of my childhood in Nutley, NJ. He was a wonderful uncle, husband and father. He certainly left a “footprint.” I know that my cousins and many other people will miss him. His was a life well-lived.
