Robert W. Nix IV's Obituary
Robert Williamson Nix IV was born to Morris B. Nix, Sr. and Thelma Winifred Wyckoff Nix on September 16, 1956 in Leesburg, Virginia. He passed out of this life on August 29, 2019 at Potomac Falls Health and Rehabilitation Center in Sterling, Virginia.
Robert was predeceased by his mother and his brother, Morris B. Nix, Jr. He is survived by his father; by three brothers, Edward Nix (Jennifer), Timothy Nix (Martha), and David Nix (Leah); and by four sisters, Linda Jeffries (Herb), Sarah Robertson, Carrie Roberts (Jim) and Mary Nix. He is also survived by a host of loving cousins, nieces, nephews and faithful friends.
Robert attended Waterford Elementary School, Blue Ridge Middle School, and Zuni Presbyterian Training Center in Zuni, Virginia. Beginning with ECHO, Robert worked in a variety of jobs. He enjoyed interacting with people and was eager to meet friends old and new. For many years Robert was a Washington Redskins football fan. He was fond of good food and good fellowship. He loved a good joke, big trucks, and singing.
Robert was a member of Christ Fellowship Church. He professed faith in Jesus Christ as his redeemer, and with that faith died in the hope of eternal life.
A viewing will be held at Loudoun Funeral Chapel in Leesburg, Virginia from 9:30 to 10:00 AM on Monday, September 9th. A graveside service will follow at 11:00 AM at the Society of Friends cemetery in Waterford, Virginia.
Pallbearers are Ed Nix, Tim Nix, David Nix, Bruce Jones, Ned Jones, Clifford Jones, Jim Roberts and Jordan Kilgour. Honorary pallbearers are Roy Levi Jones and Doug Wood.
