Robert H. Russell's Obituary
Robert H. Russell 92, of Leesburg, VA passed away January 1, 2026. He was born June 13, 1934. He grew up in Loudoun County before spending time in the Army.
Bobby was married to his beloved wife Sue Jones Russell, and they spent their married life in Paeonian Springs, VA surrounded by great neighbors and friends. He spent many years at his own woodworking company in Purcellville, VA. His parents were Lester H. Russell and Hilda E. Willow Russell. He had two brothers: John David Russell(deceased) wife Joan (Oneida, NY), and James Michael Russell (Deceased).
He had five sisters: Helen Spring (Deceased), Shirley Thomas (Deceased) husband Richard (Deceased), Ruth Pierce (Martinsburg, WV), Betty Kinser (Deceased) husband Warren (Slanesville, WV), Susan Dalton (Inwood, WV).
He also had several nieces and nephews who thought the world of him.
Bobby was a member of the Moose Lodge in Leesburg, VA where he loved spending time with his wife Sue and his many dear friends at the Lodge. He and Sue loved having breakfast at the Round Hill Diner and talking to all their friends there. They also loved going around to different towns listening to country music. He was a good husband, a good brother and a good friend who will be missed. May he rest in peace.
