Robert Edward Steves' Obituary
Bob passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2017 at his home in
Lovettsville, VA. Loving husband of 49 years to his late wife Paula Steves.
He is also the brother of James and his wife Susan Steves of Leesburg, FL
and sister Jean and her husband Fred Cognetti also of Leesburg, FL and his
late brother Ronald Steves. Bob also leaves behind 3 nieces, 3 nephews,
cousins and many friends including two very special friends, veterinarians
Shauna and Gary Spurlock of Lovettsville, VA and his faithful canine
companion, Bailey.
Bob was born on March 8, 1944 in North Carolina. He was retired from
the United States Army with 23 years of service where he was an operating
room technician. After his retirement from the military he worked as an
OR technician in area human hospitals as well as equine hospitals.
Bob will be interred in the spring at Arlington National Cemetery in
Arlington, VA and there will be no calling hours at Bob´s request.
