Robert A Thaxton's Obituary
ROBERT A THAXTON, 74, passed at home with family in Leesburg, Virginia on Friday, January 2, 2026. Robert was formerly of Gainesville and Manassas, Virginia.
Born Thursday, February 8, 1951, in Charleston, West Virginia, he was the only son of the late Norwood Thaxton and the late Beulah Mooney Thaxton. He is survived by his sisters Becky Canfield and JoAnn Skeens and seven nieces and nephews.
Robert is survived by his wife, Rebecca, of 51 years, daughter, Cynthia Leonard (Ryan), and grandchildren, Jackson and Madeline Leonard.
The family will received friends from 1100 to 1200pm on Wednesday January 7, 2026, at Loudoun Funeral Chapel located at 158 Catoctin Cr. SE Leesburg, Virginia 20175.
A funeral service will follow at 12:00PM. Interment will be held privately in Stonewall Memory Gardens, Manassas, VA.
