Robert Charles Taylor, age 73 of Ashburn, Virginia was called home to be with God on Friday, October 7, 2011.
Robert, affectionately known as Bobby, was born on Sunday, October 10, 1937 in Philadelphia, PA. He was the 3rd son of the late Solomon Taylor and the late Inez Ruth Davis.
He served in the U.S. Navy and was employed by the City of Philadelphia, PA as a Police Officer for 27 years.
Mr. Taylor leaves to cherish his memories, his beloved wife of 50 years Delores Stern Taylor; his daughter, Robin Taylor Harris & son-in-law Jeffery Harris of Leesburg, VA; a brother, Michael Taylor of DE, two grandchildren, Jefferson & Grace Harris, and many relatives and friends.
Services and interment will be held privately at a later date.
