Robert Fredrick Tewes' Obituary
Robert Fredrick Tewes, 77, Ret. Metropolitan Police Officer 5th district, of Leesburg, VA, died Wednesday, February 22, 2006, in Leesburg.
Born on March 29, 1928 in Brooklyn, NY. He was the son of the late John Henry Tewes and the late Ethel (Wharton) Tewes.
Mr. Tewes served his country in the United States Navy and was a veteran of WWII. He worked as a Capital Police Officer for the 5th district from 1951 to 1969.
He has lived in Loudoun County since the late 1970s.
He is survived by his Daughter,Carol (Tewes) Pressly and her husband Myrlon of Annapolis, MD; One grandson Robert Pressly of Annapolis, MD; and close friend ….. Mr. Tewes was predeceased by his wife Clara Tewes in 1991.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2006 at 3:00 pm at the Loudoun Funeral Chapels, 158 Catoctin Circle, SE 20175, Leesburg, Virginia.
Interment to be held privately at a later date.
