Robert Keith Edmond's Obituary
ROBERT KEITH EDMOND, 65, a resident of Sterling, Virginia since 1965, died on Friday January 18, 2008 in Falls Church, VA. Mr. Edmond was born January 26, 1942 in Kingwood, WV to the late Odbert and Marie Edmond. He was the manager of Peoples Drug Store in Sterling for 22 years before it’s closing. He then worked as salesman at Tart Lumber in Sterling for 17 years. Mr. Edmond loved spending time with his family, gardening, fishing and boating.
Mr. Edmond is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years Mrs. Mary Ann Edmond of Sterling; three daughters: Betty and husband Francis Leach of Sterling, Carolyn and husband Michael Bowman of Sterling, Mary Jo and husband Mark Ruiz of Warrenton, VA; two brothers: Richard and James Edmond; four sisters: Joy Poling, Jean Moreland, Sharon Edmond, Kay May; six grandchildren: Justin Keith Foster of Blacksburg, VA, Mikey Bowman of Sterling, David Bowman of Sterling, Steven Bowman of Sterling, Tristin Ruiz of Warrenton, Madison Ruiz of Warrenton and a host of other relatives and friends.
Friends may call at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel 158 Catoctin Cr. SE Leesburg, VA on Monday January 21, 2008 from 6-8pm. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday January 22, 2008 at 11:00am with Pastor Richard Abbott officiating. Interment will follow in Leesburg Union Cemetery.
