Robert L. Cullen's Obituary
ROBERT LEE CULLEN, 95, a life long resident of Leesburg before moving to Ohio and Tennessee to be closer to family died on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 in Franklin, Tennessee. Mr. Cullen was born September 5th, 1914 in Loudoun County to the late Joseph Thomas and Georgia Elizabeth Myers Cullen. His wife Ester Potts Cullen, five sisters and five brothers also predeceased him. Mr. Cullen was an insurance agent in Loudoun before pursuing a career with Loudoun County Public Schools that he retired from in 1987. He was a member of the Leesburg Church of the Nazarene since 1947 and very active with them earlier in his life.
His two sons survive Mr. Cullen: Robert Lee Cullen, Jr. (Faye) of Nashville, TN, Samuel Eugene Cullen (Donna) of Leisure City, FL; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Friends may call at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Cr. SE, Leesburg, Virginia on Saturday, March 13th 2010 from 1:00pm until time of services at 2:00pm with Rev. Gary Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Leesburg Union Cemetery.
