Robert Lawson McDonald, Sr., 60, of Ashburn, Virginia since 2000 died on Friday, June 4th 2010. Mr. McDonald was born November 1st 1949 in Washington, DC. He served his country in the United States Marine Corp for 11 years prior to graduating from the University of Maryland. Mr. McDonald was presently the sales director at Cellular Specialties Inc. (CSI), a wireless communications company of New Hampshire. He was a devoted father and husband.
Mr. McDonald is survived by his beloved wife of 24 years, Susan Brueckmann McDonald of Ashburn, VA; four children: William Turner McDonald and Samuel Brooks McDonald both of Ashburn, and two children from a previous marriage: Katherine Gill & Robert Lawson McDonald, Jr.; his mother: Evelyn Jean McDonald of Woodstock, VA and numerous grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, June 10th 2010 at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Cr. SE, Leesburg, VA with Pastor Brian Wells officiating. Interment will be private at a later date.
