Robert M. Fleming's Obituary
Robert M. Fleming, age 72, died at home on March 14, 2006 in Lincoln, VA.
Born July 28, 1933 in Middleburg, VA to the late Mary Alma and Joseph Melvin Fleming. He was a mechanic for over 40 years in Loudoun, most recently employed by VRTA of Purcellville.
He loved to work in his garden and go camping with his wife and grandchildren. Survived by his wife of 52 years, D. Frances Fleming of Lincoln, son R. Perry Fleming of Lincoln, son and daughter-in-law Keith and Candice Fleming of Orange, VA; grandchildren Zachery and Brooke Fleming of Orange, VA; brothers Charles Fleming of Martinsburg, WV; Larry Fleming of Oceanside, CA; Joseph Fleming of Leesburg, VA; sisters Janice Fleming of Leesburg, VA; Joyce McCann of Bluemont, VA; and Pat Ahrens of Dunellen, NJ.
A brother Donald Fleming predeceased him. Friends may call on Thursday, March 16, 2006 from 5 pm until 8 pm at Loudoun Funeral Chapels, 158 Catoctin Circle SE Leesburg, VA also from Noon until the Funeral Service at 1 pm on Friday, March 17, 2006.
Rev. Edwin Urban of Countryside Presbyterian Church will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery in Leesburg, VA. Memorial Contributions may be made in Mr. Fleming's honor to the Capital Hospice, 6565 Lee Highway, Suite 501 Falls Church, VA 22042.
