I am so thankful I was able to visit with Uncle Rod and Aunt Sally a couple of years ago. One of my favorite memories of Uncle Rod is during Christine’s wedding. A few of us were in the parking lot after the ceremony getting ready to go to the reception. David decided to toss his sport coat in the trunk. Of course once the trunk shut he realized the keys to the car were in the coat. As we all stood there dumbfounded, Uncle Rod pulls a janitor sized key ring full of keys out of his pocket and begins looking for a Ford key. It took a minute or two, but he found one that matched and popped open the trunk. Once again, we were all dumbfounded, this time with big smiles on our faces. Rest In Peace Uncle Rod. You will be dearly missed.
