Rolland "Landy" Langley's Obituary
On Thursday November 22nd, Rolland “Landy” Ament Langley of Middleburg, Virginia peacefully entered eternal rest. He is survived by his loving wife Chiara Maria Bini Langley, his son Owen Langley, stepchildren Andrew (Antoinette) Sexton, Marta (Carlo) Sexton Masotti and Michael Sexton, grand children Kara and Landon Langley, and Nathan, Kathryn, and Buckner Skalicky, and step grandchild Gabriele Masotti. Additionally, he is survived by his two brothers, Donald (Judy) and Mark Langley. He was predeceased by two children, James (Brandi) Langley and Cynthia Langley Skalicky. Serving as a carrier pilot in the US Navy, he rose to the rank of Captain. After graduating from UC Berkeley he worked as a nuclear engineer and enjoyed a successful career rising to Vice President of Bechtel Corporation before being named President of Washington DC-based British Nuclear Fuels. Visitation will be held on Saturday 12/1 from 10 to 11am, services from 11 am to 12 noon, and a reception from 12 noon to 2 pm at the Loudon Funeral Chapel at 158 Catoctin Circle, Leesburg, VA 20175.
