His enthusiasm for cars through the years was legendary, as he bought, sold, rebuilt or customized many sports and antique cars. Ronald’s engineering talent for building, tinkering, fixing or fabricating almost anything continued long after he retired in 2005 from the Department of the Navy after working for over 40 years as an Aerospace Engineer at the David Taylor Naval Ship Research and Development Center. In retirement, Ronald and Linda enjoyed lake life, boating, and ran a thriving antique business for many years. A loving husband of over 37 years, devoted father to two sons, doting grandfather of five, and favorite uncle to many. Ronald was adored for his kindness and caring more for others than himself. He was known for his welcoming, easy demeanor, his quiet strength, and his love for his kitties. Ronald loved children, and he was always as quick with a kind word or gesture as he was with a fun-loving antic or welcoming smile. Ronald is survived by his beloved wife, Linda K.
