Several years ago, we were in Virginia to attend the Shenandoah Valley Engine Show. For lunch, we walked into the Berryville Grille where the hostess told us it would be quite a wait. But the couple seated at the window invited us to join them and we accepted. That is how we met Ron and Dot. They were both exceptional conversationalists, and we had a wonderful time. The kindness they showed was the highlight of our trip.

It was a pleasure to have met Mr. Hoover at Tillett's Auction many years ago. Even more to talk with, and learn from his experience in antiques. Plus finding out we both had "friends in common". His brother Pat and wife Joyce!

Condolences to the Hoover family. His obituary brought back many memories of our athletic days at BUHS. He was an integral part of our basketball team that to this day is the only BUHS team to ever win a game in the state tournament in the modern era. . A good man!
