Ronald Daniel Martino's Obituary
Mr. Ronald Daniel Martino, age 76, of Leesburg, Virginia, passed away on March 13, 2013.
Ronald was born on January 31, 1937 in Altoona, PA. He was a son of the late Marion E. Martino and the late Mary Madeline Labriola Martino.
Ronald served his country in the United States Army and the National Guard.
He was a graduate of Penn State where he received his BA in Journalism.
Ronald worked with Schering-Plough Pharmaceutical as a Sales Director for forty three years.
He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 51 years, Patricia Ann Martino; daughters, Jacqueline Ann Martino, of Pittsburgh, PA, Cynthia Lee and son-in-law David Roland Fontaine of Washington, DC; 3 grandchildren: Michael David, Gianluca David, and Antonio David all Fontaine.
Mr. Martino was predeceased by his son David Ronald Martino in 1984.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 17, 2013 from 4 to 7 pm at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Circle, SE, Leesburg, VA 20175.
A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, March 18, 2013 at 10 am, at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church 55 Oak Crest Manor Drive, Leesburg, VA 20176.
Entombment services will follow on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at 11 am at Calvary Cemetery Columbarium, 2417 Pleasant Valley Blvd. Altoona, PA 16602.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ronald’s memory to the David R. Martino Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o the Office of Planned Giving, at The Pennsylvania State University, One Old Main, University Park, PA 16802-1502.
