Ronnie Zarou's Obituary
Ronnie Zarou, 49, of Leesburg, VA, passed on October 26, 2021 in Salem, VA.
Ronnie was born on August 22, 1972 in Long Island, New York.
The family moved to Leesburg in 1974, when he was two years old.
A native of Leesburg, Ronnie was a graduate of Loudoun County High School. He furthered his education at ECPI College of Technology in Roanoke, VA.
Ronnie worked in the restaurant business all of his life, beginning with his parent’s business, Uncle Abe’s Pizza in Leesburg, VA; and was a founding owner of Manhattan Pizzeria in many locations.
Ronnie worked hard and played hard. He was the life of the party and will be forever remembered for his sense of humor, by so many who loved him.
He was predeceased by his father in 2016, the late Ramzi Zarou.
He leaves his family to cherish his memory including, his beloved mother, Arivani Jaghab Zarou, of Leesburg, VA; his four children, Ramzi Zarou, Estella Zarou, Nathaniel Zarou and Atticus Zarou his three siblings; Azmi Zarou, wife Andrea Zarou, Karen Zarou, Jumana Azar, husband Jack Azar, nieces and nephews, Alec Zarou, Adrianna Zarou, Jordan Whitehurst, Zachary Zarou, Jadyn Azar, Julia Azar, Jacob Azar, Jacklyn Azar; plus, many aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.
The family will receive friends for visitation from 5 to 9 pm, Monday, November 1, 2021, at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel.
Funeral services will follow on Tuesday November 2, 2021 at 11 am at the funeral home.
Interment will be held in Union Cemetery, Leesburg, VA; where he will be laid to rest with his father.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family for a scholarship fund being established for Ronnie’s children.
