To the family of Rosco Alphonso Parsell,
You all have our family's deepest sympathy on the passing of Rosco. He made a differance in his community and, like Jesus, was a carpenter who touched so many lives through his 66 years on this earth. I have witnessed his work at Dulles Airport and elseewhere and know first hand of the talents he possessed.
Rosco worked with his Father and siblings to build and maintain a little league field on their property in Wax Pool which served a generation of young boys from Arcola, Wax Pool and Ashburn who, except for their generosity, may not have had an opportunity to play little league baseball during the 60's, 70's and beyond.
Rosco was admired by members of our family, including me, but especially my Son Greg who is a best friend and former classmate of Wally and came in contact with Rosco (Alphonso) frequently through the years. Greg, who now lives in Arizona sends his love and sympathy to the family.
In time, Rosco's family and friends may become accustomed to not having him among us but we shall never forget his good and cheerful way of life.
