Rose worked part-time doing general housekeeping. Rose then decided to work for Allied Corp.,
and became a Supervisor, which she was employed for many years and retired. She then decided to stay
home and become a homemaker. She also volunteered at the Salvation Army and the Blossom and
Bloom here in Leesburg for many years.
Rose took pride in being a Supervisor and her husband’s boss during her term at Allied Corp.. She loved
working in her vegetable Garden, as well as her flower garden. We all know how she loved going to her
Thrift Stores as well Saturday morning yard sales, whenever possible. Rose also loved cooking and taking
care of her family .Rose also liked to pamper herself by getting her finger and toe nails done and of
course her hair done. :o) Most of all Rose loved spending time with her grand children and great grand-
children.
Rose’s parents attended First Baptist Sycolin Church which Rose attended all of her life, making her
the longest living member of 72 years. She was a proud Deaconess and Usher. She was like the
mother of the church. Her favorite Hymn's where “Coming Up the Rough Side of the Mountain”
and “One Day at a Time”.
Rose truly loved the LORD and was a loving person to all. Rose will be missed by all but not forgotten.
