Rosebud L. Bramhall's Obituary
Rosebud L. Bramhall, 80, of Lovettsville, VA passed away on Friday, December 28, 2018 at the Hospice of the Panhandle in Kearneysville, WV.
Born June 24, 1938 in Harpers Ferry, WV, she was the daughter of the late Eugene Longerbeam and Lillie M. Williams. She was a homemaker, dedicating her time to family and community. Rosebud was honored when she received the once-in-a-lifetime bicentennial badge from the Lovettsville Girl Scout troop in 1976. She was an avid reader and constant encourager. She enjoyed cooking, baking, quilting, and knitting. Rosebud was known for winning at the local bingo halls and challenging her grandkids in cards and video games.
She is survived by her two children: Earl DaWayne Bramhall (Christine) and Donna Grove (Jeff); four grandchildren: Jill M. Davis (John), Joshua K. Bramhall, Christin N. Meyer (Marcus), and Carla Troutman; four great grandchildren: Christopher Neff, Lincoln Meyer, Charleigh Meyer, and Pippin Meyer; one brother: George Longerbeam; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Earl Divine Bramhall; seven sisters: Betty Goode, Irene Stewart, Barbara Shewbridge, Shirley Delawder, Nellie Mae Hill, Eleanor Naylor and Lillie Ann Kidwell; and four brothers: William Longerbeam, Howard Longerbeam, Harry Longerbeam and Gilbert Longerbeam.
A private memorial service was held with immediate family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to www.MilkandBookies.org or to Hospice of the Panhandle, 330 Hospice Lane, Kearneysville, WV 25430.
