Ross Michael Torres' Obituary
Ross Michael Torres, 46, of Leesburg, Virginia passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2016.
Ross was born Tuesday, July 7, 1970, to Dr. Robin G. Torres and Flora M. Torres in Easton, Pennsylvania.
He was raised in Bedford, PA, where he graduated from Bedford High School in 1988. While in High School he participated in the Chorus, Student Council, and Tennis. He graduated with a degree in business from Penn State University and in Criminology from Harrisburg Community College. In college he competed in Martial Arts.
He worked for the Department of Defense in Harrisburg, PA and also was a firearms instructor at that time. In 2006, he moved to Ashburn, VA where he continued his career with the U.S. Federal Government as a Security Officer.
Ross was entertaining with a great sense of humor. He was also known as an excellent father and was very creative and was a natural artist especially in drawing. He was an avid collector of Oakley sunglasses, knives, hand guns, watches, and Marvel Heros. Some of his favorite past times would include spending time with his family, biking, personal fitness, and visiting local wineries.
Ross was a loving husband, father, son, and brother. He is survived by his wife, Lorraine Soto Perez; daughters Mia L. Torres, and Haley Halwany;
parents Dr. Robin G. Torres and Dr. Flora M. Torres; sister, Renee L. Torres; and his second mother Flory Bagamasbad. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him.
Funeral services will be held privately by the family at Loudoun Funeral Chapel located at 158 Catoctin Circle, SE Leesburg, VA.
