We our saddened to hear of the loss of our beautiful friend and patient Ruby. She has been truly missed. Our prayers are with the Bolanos family. She was a beautiful person inside and out. Her big smile and warm hugs always made our day.

What can I say about Ruby... She is so amazing inside and out. I met her 2 1/2 years ago and I completely fell in love with her. She was the grandmother I never had. And the women I hope to be one day. I would see her every 3 weeks and boy did we have a blast. I could literally talk to her for hours and at times I would!! (I was one lucky gal) I was mesmerized by her joy of life she had more energy and spunk than most people my age. Let's not even talk about her age because she puts me to shame. I was completely floored when she told me, i wanted to brag for her! Seriously ruby.. You are stunning. I would never fail to tell her that, but heck. She knew she was, she said happiness was made her look so young. She loved dancing and taking care of herself. She was always put together.. Always. She would tell me, "you're good when you feel good". I will cherish all our times of laughter and all your stories ruby! I'm so happy I got to meet such a beautiful soul.. I hope to god I could be half the women you were. Love you Ruby! Thank you again for being you, I'll be seeing you.

My heartfelt condolences to the Bolanos family for the loss of Ruby. I always knew her to be a beautiful and vivacious woman whom I saw on occasion at family parties, but I really got to know her when I began bringing my mother to the Golden Girls luncheons.
By seeing Ruby once a month at these luncheons, I quickly found out what a fun-loving person she was and that she had much love for her family and friends. I will miss her wise advice, her humor, and her great attitude towards life. Ruby was a loving person with a beautiful soul and will be missed by all that knew her.

Dear family..... My earliest memories of my wonderful Aunty Ruby was back in the seventies when my grandparents raised me through high school years! She came by the house on many occasions for family gatherings and her infectious smile, bubbly spirit and her gracious heart always made me feel welcome to the family!
I recently discovered on Facebook last year 2015.. many cousins whom I have not seen in over 35 years, I made the contact to find Yolanda and we connected with great joy and even more so with great happiness I started going to the family Golden girls and guys and what a special joy I still have with our family!
Aunty Ruby is beautiful, joyful, strong and has endured many trials and tribulations and always triumphantly living her very best! I can only be a better woman knowing my life was gifted even for a very short time this last year with our Aunty Ruby! My Daddy "Buddy" is welcoming her in the Loving Arms of Jesus Christ Our Savior☆
