Rusty Dail's Obituary
Mr. James Russell “Rusty” Dail, 33, of New York, NY, formerly of Lovettsville, VA, died Friday, May 4, 2007, at the Beth Israel Medical Center in Manhattan.
Rusty was the son of Margaret Armstrong, of Waterford, VA, and James R. Dail of Mississippi. He graduated from Loudoun County High School in 1992. He spent his sophomore year of high school in the Orkney Islands, Scotland; and his senior year in Kassel, Germany. In 1996, Rusty received a BS in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia. After graduation, he spent a year in the Peace Corps in West Africa, teaching mathematics. He received his MBA from Harvard University in 2002. Rusty lived in Seoul, Korea from 2002 to 2006, where he worked as a Global Strategic Consultant for Samsung Electronics. Rusty traveled to over 50 countries and lived in six of them. He spoke six languages.
Rusty is survived by his parents, his partner, Zengyan “Yen” Feng, of New York, NY; his paternal grandmother, Marie Dail, of Alexandria, VA, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family and friends.
Arrangements are being handled by Loudoun Funeral Chapels, 158 Catoctin Circle, SE 20175, Leesburg, VA, where the family will receive friends from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Wednesday, May 9, 2007. Graveside services and burial will be held at Lovettsville Union Cemetery at 11:00 AM, Thursday, May 10, 2007.
