Ruth Marie Burgan's Obituary
Mrs. Ruth Marie Burgan, age 68 of Dickerson, Maryland passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2013, at University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland.
Marie was a woman with an enormous heart who enjoyed helping her neighbors and spending time with her loving grandchildren. She also had a strong appreciation of nature and took pleasure in her flower gardening.
Mrs. Burgan was born on June 26, 1944 in Great Falls, Maryland. She was a daughter of the late Joseph Wesley Davis and the late Ruth Maholland Davis. She was blessed with a large family that she leaves to cherish her memory including her husband Joseph Charles Burgan of Dickerson, MD; seven children, Juanita Davis, Ruth Davis, Robert Johnson, Peggy Branham, Wesley Harrison, Vernice Harrison, Wayne Harrison; and her brother, William Lee Davis; as well as 21 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will begin at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 8, 2013 at Loudoun Funeral Chapel located at 158 Catoctin Circle, SE Leesburg, Virginia 20175. The family will receive friends from 10am until the service begins at 11am. Interment will be in Leesburg Union Cemetery, Leesburg, VA.
