Ruth Lee Smith's Obituary
Ruth Lee (Harrington) Smith, 81, of North Potomac, MD, died Tuesday, March 21, 2006, at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital in Rockville.
Born on December 21, 1924 in Lovettsville, VA. She was the daughter of the late Howard G. Harrington and the late Helen (Baker) Harrington.
Mrs. Smith lived in Arlington, VA and was a homemaker, until the death of her husband the late Mr. Guy E. Smith, Jr. in 1981. She then moved back home to Lovettsville and ventured to become a dental assistant for Kirk Hawn DDS.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda (Smith) Ruegg and her husband Fillmer C. of North Potomac, MD; her brother, Ken Harrington and his wife Beryl of Lovettsville, VA; Nephew: Gary Harrington of Lovettsville, VA and great niece and nephew: Zack & Amy Harrington.
Graveside services will be held on Monday March 27, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at the Lovettsville Union Cemetery, with Reverend Roland England officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice in Mrs. Smith’s memory.
