RUTH VIRGINIA GRUBER, 69, of Ashburn, Virginia, died on Friday, September 11, 2009 in Ashburn. Ms. Gruber was born March 24, 1940 in Smoke Hole, WV to the late George Vernie and Minnie Judy Shreve. She moved to Sterling, VA in 1977 and began her career as a Realtor with Dulles Properties in Sterling.
Ms. Gruber is survived by her six beloved children: Todd Mowery of Circleville, WV, Tracy Mowery of Manassas, VA, Beth Mowery Dunn of Leesburg, VA, Karl Mowery of Circleville, WV, Becky Helms of Denver, CO, Allen Gruber of Sterling, VA; one brother: Alonzo Shreve of Smoke Hole, WV; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Friends may call on Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Cr. SE, Leesburg, VA from 6-8:00pm. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, September 17, 2009 at the Saint George’s Old Log Church, Smoke Hole, WV. Interment will follow in the Shreve Family Cemetery, Smoke Hole, WV.
