Sadie Elizabeth Davis was born on March 9, 1934, in Orange County, Virginia to the late Mamie Gertrude Campbell and Irvin Earl Murphy.
Sadie departed this life on August 1, 2022, at 9am in Lansdowne Hospital.
Sadie worked all of her life as a Homecare provider at Morning Side in Leesburg. She loved watching Life Time, Wrestling, and her favorite football team the Washington Redskins (Commanders).
She was joined in marriage to Arthur Lee Davis.
She leaves to cherish her life:
2 – Sisters (Henrietta Douglass and Gladys Frye), 6- Step Children (Diane Talbert, Evangelist Sylvia Faircloth, Carolyn Davis, Oliver King, Gregory King, and Thomas King), 2 – Godchildren (Tasha Johnson, and Jason Frye).
She is preceded in death by 4 sisters (Gertrude Johnson, Florine Davis, Lola Johnson, and Fanny Frye), 6 Brothers (James Frye, Robert Frye, Frank Frye, Velmer Frye, Wallace Frye, and Charlie Frye).
And a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
