Samuel Winston's Obituary
Samuel Franklin Winston, 86, died at his home on May 20 in Leesburg, VA. Mr. Winston was born on March 4, 1922 to the late Jennie Smith Winston and Clifton Winston in Leesburg, VA. He was predeceased by brothers William and James and sisters Cynthia Roberts, Geneva Jackson and Gertrude Harden. Samuel retired from the Barber & Ross Company after 28 years in 2002. Survivors include a brother Nathaniel “Dee” Winston and sister-in-law Thelma of Charlestown, WV, a son Charles Mallory, grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Friends may call at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel 158 Catoctin Circle, SE, in Leesburg, VA from 7-9 PM on Thursday, May 22. The funeral will take place on Friday, May 23, at the funeral home 11:00 a.m. with interment to follow in Solon Cemetery in Middleburg, VA.
