Sandra “Sandy” Shugars Orrison, 63, of Sterling, VA passed away after a long battle with cancer at her home on February 13, 2018.
Born December 7, 1954 in Leesburg, VA to Charles F. Shugars and Betty Wagner Ball, Sandy enjoyed a life full of unwavering love for her family, honesty, tough love, and a positive outlook that never faded. Sandy found love as a senior at Broad Run High School in 1973 and married Rickey Orrison of Arcola.
Sandy was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Ball, and her step-father, Jeff Ball. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Rickey Orrison; her siblings Sally Dellinger, Frank “Junie” Shugars, and Pat Shugars; her three beautiful children, Samantha Blair, Travis Orrison, and Sarah Orrison, all of Winchester, VA; her favorite little treasures, grandchildren Riley Mentzer and Austin Blair; as well as her beloved extended family members.
