Sandra Jean Shafer
Sandra Shafer, known to friends as "Jean," went to be with the Lord on December 23, 2012, at the age of 68 years.
She was a passionate follower of Jesus Christ and that showed in her work as a manager for over 20 years with Family Christian Stores. Jean served on the boards of numerous organizations, most recently as Recording Secretary for the Loudoun County Women’s Club during this past year.
She is survived by her son Erick Rozelle, daughter, Jennifer James, and 3 grandchildren, Camelia James, Joshua Rozelle, and Benjamin Rozelle.
A Celebration of Jean’s life will be held on Thursday, December 27th, at 5 p.m. at The Worship Center in Leesburg, VA.
Mom’s passion for the Lord was closely followed by her passion for music and books. Donations in memory of Jean can be made to The Worship Center c/o Memorial Library Fund. The Worship Center, 19227 Gleedsville Road, Leesburg, VA 20175.
