Sanford Hawkes Gulick's Obituary
Sanford Hawkes Gulick age 65 of Leesburg, VA died suddenly on June 19, 2012 as a result of an equipment accident.
Sanford was born on August 7, 1946 in Leesburg, VA and was a son of the late Milton Hutchison Gulick and Anna Asenath Ayres.
Sandy lived all of his life in Loudoun County and was the owner and operator of Gulick Excavating, Inc.
He was in the United States Army, serving in Korea and Vietnam.
Sandy is survived by his wife Aiping Yuan of Leesburg, VA, former wife Madelynn Gulick of Aldie, VA, four children, Deborah Lloyd of Ashburn, VA, Karen Dendler of Prince George, VA, Michael Gulick of Aldie, Mary Elizabeth Gulick of Norfolk, VA and one step-daughter, Mengtian Hei of Kaiteng, China. Sandy is also survived by his brother Milton Gulick of Aldie, sister Mary Gulick Beach of Aldie, four grandsons and one granddaughter.
Friends may call on Sunday June 24, 2012, from 4 to 7 pm at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Circle, SE, Leesburg, VA.
Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Monday, June 25, 2012 at 10 am with the Reverend John Sheehan of The Church of Our Redeemer, Aldie, VA officiating.
Interment will be held in Leesburg Union Cemetery, Leesburg, VA.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Aldie Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 366, Aldie, VA 20105.
