Scott Douglas Anderson's Obituary
Scott Douglas Anderson, 52 of Ashburn, Virginia passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, in Ashburn, Virginia.
Born Wednesday, May 6, 1970, in Flint, Michigan, he was the youngest son of the late Jerry Anderson and Janice Zigo Anderson.
From a young age Scott found happiness in music, being involved in his local community and high school theater while growing up in Swartz Creek, Michigan, he enjoyed singing and acting. At the age of 20 Scott began his United States Navy career as part of the commissioning crew of the USS Hampton SSN 767 out of Norfolk, Virginia as a Sonar Technician. He served in the United States Navy from 1990 – 2001 in both submarines and as Military Police at Yorktown Weapons Station.
Scott is survived by his best friend and loving wife of 27 years, Marirosa Anderson, son, Steven Anderson, daughter, Zoe Anderson, brothers, Randy Anderson, Mark Anderson and Jay Anderson, sister, Shari Ravert Anderson and many cousins, nieces and nephews that love him and will miss him.
Scott was incredibly focused on his life for himself and for his family, a Celebration of Life service will be held at 1:30 PM on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at Our Saviors Way Lutheran Church, 43115 Waxpool Rd, Broadlands, VA 20148.
