Scott Logan's Obituary
Scott Logan, 57 of Ashburn, Virginia passed away suddenly on Sunday, August 30, 2020, at his home. He was born October 24, 1962, in Lewisburg, PA. He is survived by his beloved wife of 29 years, Annie Logan, and son’s Alexander and Nicholas Logan, grandson, Braxton Logan, parents Scott and Ethel (Parry) Logan, and sisters Lauren (Mazzei) Logan and Amy Logan. He also left behind many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Scott was known in the community as “Coach Logan” to many. His love for the game of baseball was passed on to many boys and young men. He impacted countless players, with not only baseball skills, but life skills. His love of the game will be passed to future generations through the legacy he left behind.
Scott loved life, and enjoyed not only coaching, but also spending time with his family, fishing, and endless water gun fights with his grandson. Scott had a kind soul and cared deeply for others. His laughter and smile could light up a room!
A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, Sept 5th at Loudoun Funeral Chapel located at 158 Catoctin Circle, SE Leesburg, Virginia 20175. Following the service there will be a luncheon at Replay Sports, 21670 Red Rum Drive, Ashburn VA 20147. All are welcome to attend to celebrate a man who is gone before his time, and loved by all who had the pleasure to meet him.
