Seth,
You may have left this earthly building, but what fond memories you leave behind. Your infectious laugh, and that smile that could, and did bring a return smile from us. I remember your Thursday mad dashes to Trudeau airport, so that you could make it home on time, multi-tasking all the way. You were a great boss, and I will miss you.
You always said to me "it is what it is", but permit me to hold off on that reality for a while.
I want to remember you as the consummate music lover, listening and appreciating so many different genres. I know that you must be enjoying and grooving to all the great jam sessions up there.
Salut Seth et repose en paix... Ginette Racicot-Gladu
My memories of Seth begin on the first day of fourth grade. I was the "new girl", having just returned from living in Germany for three years. Seth was absent when the teacher called role on that first day, but when she called his name, the other kids all reacted excitedly. I wondered who this boy was that brought on such a reaction. Larger than life, as others have said? Yes! Even in fourth grade. A mutual friend told me she remembers folk dancing that year, and having Seth as a partner. He was an enthusiastic partner and flung her around the room! I remember the ongoing competition for "gold medals" for accurately completing long division. We all wore the medals proudly - they were actually brown construction paper circles - pinning them to our shirts, one connected to the next. Seth was tough to beat and had a long line of medals on his shirt! I remember Seth belting out "My Country Tis of Thee" after we recited the Pledge of Allegiance. Even then he was a great singer. In high school, Seth made his mark in chorus, with his wonderful voice, and on the It's Academic team, with his brilliant mind. It is apparent from these posts that those who knew Seth in later years recognized his amazing work ethic. That, like his singing voice, was present at a very young age. He worked hard at a paper route in elementary school, and later worked at Manny Moon's in Woodbridge. It is no surprise at all that he was successful in business. Seth was a good and considerate friend, remembering birthdays and planning class reunions. He was a wonderful man and will be truly missed. To his family, I am so sorry for your loss and am thinking of you during this time.
Most sincerely,
Jeannie Williams Martin
Seth, you will have left fond memories in the heart of each individual that has had the privilege to share good moments with you during the course of life. I learned so much from you. I always considered you as a mentor during the years that we have worked together at Adacel, even if you were a "finance" guy and I was "HR" (!) and you were my best boss ever. Not only were you a great human being, but you made us laugh so hard even in difficult times and your energy was contagious. My thoughts are with your family and friends. May peace be with you for the rest of your journey with the stars...Laissez les bons temps rouler, as you always said... Monique L.
We lost track of each other after high school; I have many memories with him and the Gar-Field choir and ensemble. He was truly fun to be around. Rest in peace. Hap Peterson
I will miss his smile and kindness. I am blessed to have known him and to have worked with him in Montreal. He will be dearly missed. All my thoughts are with Maryann and his children who he loved dearly. RIP Seth, tu vas me manquer :(
It was an honour and a pleasure to have worked with Seth at Adacel for a number of years. He adopted Montreal and all the staff of Adacel Inc. We laughed hard and worked harder. I will never forget our Costco lunches! Rest in Peace Seth.
