SHARIA YVONNE GARLAND, 44 of Ashburn, Virginia passed on Thursday, May 19, 2022, at her home in Ashburn, Virginia.
Born Wednesday, July 6, 1977, in Buffalo, New York, she was the daughter of Darrell Woolwine and April Tompkins. She was the wife of Kirby Garland, Jr.
Sharia is survived by her loving husband, Kirby; son, Benjamin; daughter, Kyra’lee; mother, April; father, Darrell (Tonya); sister, Laria Jones (Dannan); brother, Darrell Woolwine (DeAndria); and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
A memorial service will be held in her honor on Saturday June 4, 2022 at 11:00AM at East Friendship Baptist Church, 4401 Brooks St. NE, Washington, DC 20019.

Sharia had a love for natural health and was pursuing a degree with the International Institute of Original Medicine, a biblically-based, non-profit institute of higher learning. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made her in memory to IIOM.
