I was saddened to learn of Sharron's passing from the Fairfax County Retirees' newsletter. I worked with her in Human Resources and saw her often when she worked in the County Executive's Office. She always had a bright smile and a wry comment and never forgot to ask about my family. She was a wonderful woman and a caring mother. We were fortunate to know her.
I remember spending Holidays and family gatherings with your Mom and her precious children. It was always a happy occasion to be with the family. I will hold these memories close to my heart.

Sharon and her family have been friends of mine for many years. I was living with my brother in the same neighborhood when, 6 years ago, he passed away in his sleep. With no place to go, Sharon offered me a room in her townhouse where I spent the following 3 years. Without her caring and generosity, I would not have been able to cope, not to mention save money for my move to North Carolina. I owe Sharon and her family a huge debt if gratitude. R.I.P. Sharon.
Thoughts and prayers go out to Sharon's family and friends. Although we were cousins who unfortunately didn't keep in contact with each other over the years I do recall spending time together as youngsters and enjoying those times with her sister Ellen and brother, Jimmy. May she rest in peace.

Dear Trish and family--
I was so sorry to hear about your Mom's passing. How blessed she was to have her loving family be there with her and also to care for her during her illness. While I didn't know Sharon well, I did have the pleasure to meet her when I first came to work for Fairfax County and she was always smiling and welcoming no matter who you were or what your position was. I see that in you also. I won't be able to attend the service next week as I will be out of town, but my thoughts and prayers are with you.
