Shirley Gordon Owens' Obituary
Mr. Shirley Gordon Owens, 76, of Lucketts, Virginia, passed away on Friday, December 23, 2011, at Heritage Hall Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Shirley was born on May 13, 1935 in Warrenton, VA; a son of the late Claude Wrenn Owens and the late Louise Teele Owens.
Shirley served his country in the US Navy.
He was Owner & Operator of Owens Binding.
He leaves to cherish is memory his wife of 55 years, Peggy Ann Washington Owens of Leesburg, VA; three daughters, Lisa Marshall of Stephens City, VA, Barbara Raab of Lucketts, VA and Brenda Owens of Sterling, VA.
He is also survived by a brother, William “Billy” Owens of Purcellville, VA; two grandchildren Whitney Marshall Ligsay, and Gregory Alan Marshall, II; 2 great grandchildren, Andreas Teele and Ava Jade Ligsay.
Mr. Owens was predeceased by a son Gary Gordon Owens in 1959.
Friends may call on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 from 1 to 2 pm where a memorial service will begin at 2 pm at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Circle, SE, Leesburg, VA 20175.
Interment will be held privately.
