Spencer (Tripp) Everett Robbins III's Obituary
Spencer Everett Robbins III (Tripp) of Leesburg, passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2022. Tripp was born in Jacksonville, FL on May 17, 1981 to Spencer E Robbins II and Barbara Sue Robbins (Barrett). As the son of a Naval officer, Tripp moved around a lot as a child. Eventually the family settled in Northern Virginia where Tripp attended Robinson Secondary School. Following high school, he received a full academic scholarship to Virginia Military Institute where he earned a BA in History. After college he joined the Army and served as an officer for two tours in Iraq. Serving with his military brothers was an incredibly treasured time for Tripp. Shortly after completing his Army service, he met his soon-to-be wife, Heather Nicole Robbins (Ganyard). Together they had two children: daughter Samantha Rose (Sam,7 ½) and son, Spencer Everett Robbins IV (Quade, 3). Tripp has dealt with cancer much of his life, beginning in high school, and most recently for the past nine years. In spite of his health challenges, he ran ultra- marathons in his spare time, became a top performer and received high recognition in his industry (software sales to the federal government with Citrix, McAfee and currently with Skyhigh Securities), traveled extensively and was involved in Cross Fit. However, the most important aspect of his life was being a husband and father. Tripp is survived by his wife, their two children, his father, and his two sisters (Ashley White and Courtney Juncker), and their respective families. Tripp lived his life to the fullest. He walked and talked with integrity. He was a man of his word and was forever loyal to all who knew him. He will be sorely missed. A celebration of life will be held at Leesburg United Methodist Church on Saturday, October 8, at 2 pm. with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to his favorite charity foundation, Little Star: littlestar.org.
