Stefan Munn's Obituary
Stefan Kyle Shartouny Munn, forever 11, Beloved son of B’Lynn and Garth Munn, devoted brother to Jessica, Victoria Rose and Melyssa Mae earned his Angel wings after a short but bravely fought battle with a rare brain tumor. Stefan is remembered for his swiftness in soccer, his endurance in cross country running, and his accurate toss in basketball. A talented musician, Stefan was a Blues man down to the bone - singing the Blues and “blowing the harp’ and had appeared on stage with several Atlanta based musicians. He was fond of fishing, camping and wood carving, loved to cook and sew, and held the Confederate States of America in the highest esteem. Atlanta born and bred, Stefan moved with his family to Virginia in 2004. He was a proud member of the Cub Scouts, a humble member of the Baha’I Faith, an Australia Zoo Wild Life Warrior, a member of the Norton Park Chorus and attended Norton Park Elementary School in Marietta, and Horizon Elementary in Virginia. He left this world in the arms of his family surrounded by loved ones. He is survived by his grandparents Barbara Breen, Esther Grodeon, Jim & Sue Morio, and his Aunt Joanie and Uncle Billy Joe. The family will receive visitors on Friday, January 5 from 5:00 until 9:00 P.M. The service will be at Loudoun Funeral Chapel in Leesburg on Saturday, January 6 at 12:30 P.M., followed by the burial at Union Cemetery in Leesburg. There will be a Blues Celebration of Life following the burial with hot chocolate and cookies to honor Stefan’s life. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to the Save Our Stefan fund at www.SaveOurStefan.com and living plants for a memorial garden.
